Emergency shelter (pets may be sheltered with owners), cell phone with minutes
Support services
A 24-hour hotline, emergency transportation, crisis intervention, safety planning, hospital/sexual assault exam information, support, resources and clothing, community resource referrals, and an advocate on the University of Wyoming campus, help and budgeting/financial education. Financial assistance includes:gift cards for groceries, diapers, and other essentials, gas cards, rent deposit and utility assistance, lock changes and new keys, document replacement fees (i.e. driver’s license, birth certificate, social security car), vehicle repair, bus tickets and help with relocation
Legal services
Limited aid for low-cost legal services, arranging a civil standby (law enforcement stands by to “keep the peace” while the survivor gathers belongings from a shared residence), assistance with completing and filing the following: domestic violence protection orders, stalking protection orders, and sexual assault protection orders, help with victim compensation, accompaniment to the police department, courthouse, or other locations to file reports, court accompaniment and support
